How do I create a password macro for America Online?

EZ Macros makes it easy for you to create passwords for AOL and any other program and online service.   For AOL password macros we suggest you follow these instructions.

1. Do not record the password macro.  Instead click the Create/Edit button shown below.

The following window will appear.

2. Type your password and click the <Enter> button to simulate the Enter key being pressed.  You may find you have to insert a delay in the middle of the macro too.  For example, assume your password is "howdypartner".  The macro would be:

howdy<Delay(2000)>partner<Enter>

3. Then click the <Ok> button. 

4. Set the Recorded Speed slider bar to the middle of the bar. If you have it set too fast, AOL will not accept the keystrokes.
